Our background!
The Elephant Business Incubation Centre is one of several businesses started by the O’Meara family. The first business, O’Meara Camping was started by Rory O’Meara in 1958 and has celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Other businesses started by the O’Mearas include the Richmond Business Campus, Ossory Business Park, O’Meara Holidays and Elephant Self Storage.
The O’Meara family started the Business Incubation Centres (BIC) guided by the USA NBIA, (National Business Incubation Association), in 1990 and since then has provided facilities to over 500 small and large businesses including Aldi who started in the Business Incubation Centre before opening all over Ireland, Luas Light Railway System and the Port Tunnel, Motorola, Dames & Moore, Monster.com, Anderson Consulting, Department of Agriculture plus numerous Start-ups, many of which are now well established businesses.
The Business Incubator centre is run by Jude O’Meara and a professional team. They help to support new businesses from secretarial services, shipping, packing, to advice and providing connections in financial, marketing, advertising, printing and website development.
